What to expect in the first session
The first appointment will be an assessment and will enable me to determine whether I’ll be able to help you and allow you to decide if you’d like to work with me.
There is no obligation, but if you’d like to progress there will be an opportunity for you to talk and share your concerns.

The sessions belong to you and I’m here to listen.  As the sessions progress, we can look at your issues, potentially set goals together, and work out how you will achieve these.

People normally attend weekly to start with, but the frequency of sessions can be discussed in your first appointment.  You can stop your counselling sessions at any time.

I also offer Online Therapy via Zoom

I can answer any additional questions you may have in your first session. I am bound by the Code of Ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. You can read the Code at www.bacp.co.uk
