Person Centered – A Talking therapy which focuses on self-development, and growth. It encourages individuals to recognise their own strength, creativity and choice.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Behavioural therapies are based on the way you think (cognitive) and the way you behave. CBT recognises that it is possible to change, or remodel our thoughts or behaviour to overcome specific problems.
Transactional Analysis – is a theory of Personality and Communication. Sessions are designed to explore an individual’s personality and how this has been shaped by experience – particularly those stemming from childhood.
Psychodynamic – Psychodynamic therapy is based on an individual’s unconscious thoughts and perceptions that have developed throughout their childhood, and how these affect their current behaviour and thoughts.
Mindfulness – is the ability to be fully present in the moment – it can have many benefits, everything from reduced stress and sadness to finding calm and happiness in the here and now.
